Start with an Easy Airbrush – The Badger 150

Want to start airbrushing without all the hassle? Smart move! Here’s why the Badger 150 is the perfect easy airbrush.

Airbrushing might seem like a daunting task, with many hurdles and a steep learning curve.  Luckily, not all airbrushes are created equal, and some are designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind.

Whether you’re a beginner taking your first steps into the airbrush world or an experienced artist seeking new tools, the Badger 150 offers an excellent starting point.

In this blog post, we’ll delve into the specifics of this often skipped over airbrush.

Badger 150: Easy Airbrush

The Badger 150 is a classic dual-action airbrush that has all the right features.

Simplicity, durability, and versatility, it’s an ideal choice for beginners. Here’s why the Badger 150 is a great starting point:

Dual-Action Design

The Badger 150 features a dual-action trigger, which means that you can control both the airflow and paint flow with a single trigger.

This is the main difference between the Badger 150 and other airbrushes branded as easy.  The dual action is a key part of airbrushing and having any kind of control.  Nothing wrong with single action airbrushes, but it is not the same.

Suction Feed

Despite being a dual-action airbrush, the Badger 150 is the beginner-friendly go-to because of the suction feed.  Thinning paint properly is the hardest part of mastering the airbrush, and suction feeds are much easier to get right.

Durability

Badger is renowned for producing sturdy and reliable airbrushes, and the 150 is no exception. Its robust construction ensures that it can withstand the trials of a beginner’s learning curve.  Badger also offers a great warranty on their products, meaning if something does go wrong, they have your back.

Badger 150 or 105

The more common (and wrong, if you ask me) theory is that the Badger Patriot 105 is the go-to easy airbrush.  While the Patriot is a great airbrush, we ran a comparison with the easy airbrush that is the Badger 150 here.

TLDR, if easy is what you’re looking for, the Badger 150 is what you want.
